D-Day Memorial Hall, Southwick, Hampshire Community Hall Kitchen Refurbishment

Caterplan carried out a full turn-key commercial kitchen refurbishment at D-Day Memorial Hall in Southwick, near Portsmouth.  The village hall was originally built with funds raised by the village during the summer of 1994 – the 50th anniversary of ‘D-Day’.

The existing ‘domestic’ style kitchen was stripped out before installing Altro Whiterock wall cladding, vinyl safety flooring and ceiling planks.  A new extraction system was then installed before kitting out the kitchen with new bespoke stainless steel floor & wall cupboards and sink units.  The existing electric range was re-instated along with a new commercial dishwasher, automatic hot water boiler & commercial refrigeration.

The 4 week refurbishment project was completed and handed over on time ready for the busy wedding & functions season and ahead of the 75th anniversary D-Day celebrations.
