Reading Football Club, Kitchen Design

Caterplan were appointed by EFL League One, Reading F.C to design the new catering facility at Bearwood Park, Reading F.C’s new ‘state of the art’ training facility in Wokingham.

They had outgrown their Hogwood Park Home and as part of the clubs ongoing investment, the new training ground was necessary in meeting the demands of a progressive football club and category one academy status.

The new training ground is home to a purpose built first team building and includes a separate academy facility.

Following the design process, we were appointed to fit-out the new kitchen space and canteen servery counters in the academy and first team dining areas, including beverage stations in the first team players’ lounge.

The kitchen space was a blank canvass and our fit-out included all the necessary M&E, Wall cladding, Vinyl Flooring, Catering equipment, Walk in Chiller Rooms and installation of Fire Shutters to close off the hot servery counters.

We worked directly for Reading F.C and working closely with our client’s main contractor to ensure the kitchen was completed on time and on budget.
