Caterplan were appointed by St Saviours Church to design and install a kitchen to cater for their drop-inn day centre and food bank serving the local community. The food bank exists to provide the community of Sunbury with food parcels and hot meals for those most in need, and acts as a meeting place for all to enjoy drinks and light refreshments. They also have a team dedicated to helping with finance and benefits advice, as well as other community support. The kitchen installation included building a new servery wall with a fire door and fire shutter, separating the kitchen from the main church hall, and included all the usual specification such new hygienic white rock and Altro vinyl. It was great to be involved with a project where the staff were so passionate about serving the local community. Our installation team were extremely well looked after during the fit-out and didn’t want the job to end! Well done to everyone at at St Saviour’s for all their hard work.
